CBD extraction: discover our way
Obtaining extracts and CBD isolate from Cannabis Sativa L. starts with the processing to remove all the unwanted components of the plant (waxes, fibers).
Each of Enecta's products is developed and formulated around a specific cannabinoid.
Cannabinoids and terpenes can be enhanced in many different ways. Enecta has developed a "full spectrum" extraction method that maximizes all efficacy and safety features to ensure a product of the highest quality and performance.
Everybody who has tried our CBD product has experienced all the benefits of CBD.
Making products of the highest quality, such as Enecta's, requires professionalism, procedures and instrumentation fit for purpose. Nothing is left to chance.
Since we know how crucial it is to be able to purchase and consume with confidence, we feel it only right to explain the path that leads an hemp plant seed to become a CBD extract ready for consumption.
Making a quality hemp product requires adherence to certain basic principles and guidelines made by independent bodies.
The basic principles that guide us are:
• Cultivation on selected fields without the use of pesticides
• Application of the Guidelines on Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP)
• Contaminant monitoring according to the specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GACP) standards.
• Specifically, the GACP and GMP guidelines serve as the basis for the instruction of an appropriate quality assurance (QA) system, providing useful guidance to ensure certain standards by ensuring:
• Compliance with general and specific hygiene requirements (which includes areas of contamination/cross-contamination, personal hygiene and hygienic production of plant material).
• Control methods.
• Documented procedures (SOPs) covering the entire production process in detail.
• Safety of the process.
• Suitability of the final product.
This model helps us to ensure, through standardized procedures and identification of critical production steps (based on HACCP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points procedures), appropriate and consistent quality and safety of the final product, within a comprehensive and up-to-date internal traceability system.
Each production batch can be traced and traced back to the producer and, therefore, also to the field or place where the plants were grown and harvested.
Our products, included oil extract (in addition to following GACP guidelines) are certified: made in Italy, Pesticide Free, Heavy Metal Free.
We ensure the absence of heavy metals through analysis and sampling during the production stages and Monitored Warehouse (dedicated buildings are constantly cleaned, ventilated and monitored, with respective work areas well demarcated and adequate to protect the product from any possible contamination).

Pharmaceutical Guidelines
Hemp, packaged and stored, is ready, then, to be shipped to our production site (or to any customers), where the plant material will go through the processes to make the final product.
It is our priority to maintain high quality management standards in the development, production and control of our products to ensure compliance with contemporary requirements for safety, quality and efficacy.
The manufacture of products follows GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) principles and guidelines.
Rules and guidelines that apply to all stages of the production cycle, and is based on a reliable quality system integrated with accurate risk management, with the aim of ensuring that products also conform to ICH (The International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use) models and ISO (International Standard Organization) quality concepts.
Those rules are, therefore, suitable for their intended use and do not put consumers at risk due to inadequate safety or quality.
This quality objective is achieved both through the efforts of appropriately qualified personnel involved in the processing steps and by using approved procedures in appropriate premises, spaces, and with appropriate equipment and services.
Extract CBD from hemp
Key role of the production is the chemical extraction step that takes place in laboratories where laboratory operations are planned, controlled, recorded and reported.
Chemical extraction involves the separation of the components of interest (e.g., CBD, CBG) from the hemp flowers so as to obtain rich/concentrated extracts of only the components of our interest with careful removal of THC.
The applied extraction methods are capable of making the most of the properties of our raw material while maintaining the original structure and biological activity of the substances.
Solvent extraction systems are carefully standardized, with attention to process parameters such as pressure and temperature, extraction agent and reagents used. Our way of process involves the use of GRAS (Class III) solvent such as EtOH;
Successive steps ensure separation of interferents (such as waxes) that would disrupt subsequent steps of purification and isolation of a specific cannabinoid without degrading the natural molecular structure of the same.
Quality control in our extract work
Quality control is concerned with validating and implementing all quality control procedures:
- drafting procedures describing in- and post-process sampling and testing; maintaining documentation and production records
- defining room cleaning and sanitization operations
- verifying the operating conditions (calibration and maintenance) of instruments, equipment and facilities
- monitoring the effectiveness of processes
- ensuring proper labeling of containers and compliance of packaging
- ensuring product stability monitoring
- implementing effective traceability systems
Quality control, therefore, is not limited to laboratory operations, but is involved in all decisions that may affect product quality (from cultivation of the raw material to packaging and distribution of the final product)
We have been producing high CBD extracts since 2013. All our CBD products come from Cannabis Sativa L. varieties that we grow organically in Italy, without the use of chemical additives or pesticides.
After years of study and research, we have developed the first extraction hemp varieties registered in the European Catalogue, thanks to which we are able to obtain the highest quality and different concentrations of cannabinoids and terpenes from which to extract the final product.
Our CBD Oil, available in different concentrations and formats, is the end product of a short and self-managed supply chain.
It is made in specialized laboratories and tested in third-party laboratories to ensure maximum microbiological safety and the absence of heavy metals.
Choosing Enecta's CBD oil means choosing a safe, high-quality product with a high concentration of cannabinoids and a variety of carefully selected terpenes encapsulated in exclusive and innovative formulas.
